Family Home Evening Assignment Board

Right before Christmas a lady brought me a family home evening board she had bought while attending Time Out for Women. She wanted me to put vinyl names on all the tags. When I pulled hers out of the box I knew I could make the exact same thing. So I took down measurements and made one very similar to hers but obviously hers isn't personalized with her last name. I was originally going to sell these with my valentine crafts but realized the front door post was considered an expensive craft and I try to keep it to only one expensive craft. So I will push this one back till the st Patricks craft night. I really like it. And while f.h.e. has been one of those things we've never struggled with this does make it so much easier. I switch tags around just before we gather everyone together. My 6 year old tells and reminds everyone what they're doing when we start. My husband and I get two assignments since our family isn't big enough. :) I love it!

Door Post

I looked for months for a front door post that was my style. I was so excited when I found this one. I couldn't find a hook that I loved so I went with something simple. And it still looks great. This was the most popular thing ordered from my craft group. A couple of ladies ordered just the welcome sign, a few others just the post, and a couple of others ordered the post, sign and hearts. I love that I can change it out with each season and make new signs. It looks great on my front porch!

Heart block

This was very simple craft. Three various sized white hearts on a red board with twine. I liked the simplicity of it.

Hanging Hearts

This is the alternative to the personalized family hearts. Instead of stacking them on a block they can hang with ribbon. I have this sliver of a wall near my front door and I'm always tryin to think of something small and thin enough to hang there. This was a total accident. I lined the hearts up in a line on my table to hold something down and realized I liked them like that! I also had cut our names out for another craft but the names were too small for that craft and they worked out perfectly for these. It's not a pretty frilly font like I used on all my other valentine hearts but it worked. And all I had to do was cut a small board to hold it all together.

The Hardys Heart

I love this giant heart! I had a lot of success selling personalized holiday crafts on a local Facebook page. So I keep trying to come up with new stuff to keep people on that page interested in the crafts I offer. I wanted it simple. My favorite part about it is the knock off "I love Lucy" font. It pulled the whole craft together and gave it a lot of character for such a simple thing. And I love looking at it when I open my front door. It replaced the wreaths that I usually hang there.

Please knock

A lady I go to church with asked me to make her "knock" sign because her doorbell was broken. She told me she only wanted to spend $5. So I made a sign the size of my $5 crafts and when she came it pick it up she just thought it was so beautiful. She's given my kids a fisher price basketball hoop and numerous Dora movies so I couldn't charge her.

Personalized Valentine Family

This is my valentine twist to all the other personalized holiday family blocks. I used a coca cola font and think it's perfect. The boys are red and girls are pink. I like the way it turned out!!

Be My Valentine

This one is super simple. I saw it on Pinterest and thought it was adorable! I like the tan paint with red vinyl. It breaks up all the red, white, and pink that I have out right now.

LOVE quote

A friend who has ordered several signs for herself and friends from me posted a picture of this on fb and suggested it for one of the Valentines crafts. I love when people give me ideas. I don't have to search or guess what people like. It's a good size. And I had a great spot for it.

Valentine Yarn Wreath

I saw this one circulating Pinterest last year and made a different one instead. But this year I had tons of grey yarn left over from a previous wreath I made over the summer. Which meant I got to make this one since I has tons of felt scraps laying around too.

LOVE Board

I had the back of the "Santa clause is coming to town" board from Christmas and it was blank. I am all about saving on supplies and cost. So some white paint and giant red vinyl letters solved that problem. I really like the way it looks. I have it hanging between my hutch and big kitchen window. It's the perfect spot.
